New work: “Lost and found”

Brighton Pier and beach.

I lost this work or rather I forgot I’d done this but now it is found.

New work: “Refreshments”

I spy with my beady eye…

Brighton beach selective colour. I really liked the vantage point that these two seagulls adopted. Looks like they’ve got things pretty well covered πŸ™‚

Last of the Summer Wine

Brighton beach on a hot day, nuff said πŸ™‚

As close as I get to a “straight” photograph!

The lady reminds me a bit of my late grandmother, you could put the clock back 50 years to when I was a child and I can still close my eyes and picture her sitting in a deckchair in her Sunday-best floral “frock” at the seaside, pure nostalgia.

New work: “The lanes” – Brighton

One of my favourite parts of Brighton, the narrow twisty lanes.

People watching near Brighton Pier. Quite a lot of selective sharpening, dodging and burning going on in this one.

I also used my PEN E-PL5 a lot yesterday alongside my E-M5, very impressed with this little camera which gives superb results in very tricky lighting conditions.

New work: “Sun drenched”

Another work from my Brighton visit.

A new work: “A sea of humanity”

Brighton beach yesterday packed with people on one of the hottest days of the year so far.

W e took our 4 year old grandaughter out for the day and had a lovely time. I’ve been visiting the town since my childhood and I’ve never seen it so packed, a real “sea of humanity”
