Another painterly work from my visit to Brussels
I thought I’d change tack today and do a colourful surreal landscape work for a change. You never know exactly what you’ll get from me in one of my posts do you? :). The day before yesterday I was in a very “painterly” mood, yesterday I enjoyed going back to monochrome and today I’m off in the opposite direction. Still it helps to keeps things fresh and experimental. Don’t ask what I’ll be making tomorrow because I haven’t a clue yet :).
I asked her what was the first thing that came in to her mind when thinking of Belgium. No, not the Smurfs! or, bizarrely, the very good Belgian beer! but, yes you’ve guessed it, so we just had to go in to quite a few of Brussels’ myriad of chocolate shops to sample their wares :).
View of Brussels from the Atomium. Not the best location if one is suffering from one’s third bout of BPV (Benign Positional Vertigo) in as many years. The only good bit about this thing is “Benign”, I have my own term for it which is best not printed here.
My able assistant otherwise known as “my beloved”, “she who must be obeyed”, “‘er indoors” and other similar terms of endearment had to steady me to prevent me from falling over but I got the shots! 🙂
Hi everyone, a dreamy painterly work today.
All the best
