Something that I’ve never done before, I’ve attempted a short video in which I talk a little about some of my landscape works, what appealed to me in the scene, where they were taken and some background location information.
Please excuse the pun, buying my own work to hang on the wall has had an unexpected side effect as it’s given my work some extra exposure and brought it to the attention of others and that can’t be a bad thing. 🙂 I didn’t think about this as my purpose was solely to have some of my favourite pictures on the wall, well, fitted wardrobe doors actually, but same difference 🙂 so that I can brighten up my working space A.K.A the “Man Cave” 🙂 . I’ve waited quite a while to be able to do this, partly because of the expense involved and also having the space to do it as our previous abode was rented and one couldn’t hang anything on the walls which was a constant eyesore to me.
Well they say that “nature abhors a vacuum” and I was sick of looking at my bare fitted wardrobe doors so I decided to get some professional 10×8 prints done of a few of my personal favourite works. I don’t get my work printed for myself that often as it’s not cheap as you know but I’m happy with the results.
New Horizons 59 “Oh I do like to be beside the seaside”. Hi Res shot taken in Bognor Regis. I wanted to experiment with using the camera’s hi-res shot mode to give a longer exposure movement in the sea. Olympus PEN-F and M.Zuiko 30mm. The move to the coast has been a real breath of fresh air both metaphorically and literally.:)
