why I spend so much time working on my website that no one ever visits http://www.leighkemp.co.uk . Well I suppose it keeps me busy between works and they say that “God loves a trier!” 🙂

Hi everyone I need your help,
I’ve decided that I’m going to try and apply for an RPS distinction
I’m required to submit 10 of my works with 6 “spares” or one’s that don’t make the top ten and can act as a substitute to the advisory panel.
I’ve narrowed things down a bit and uploaded 40 of my works to my RPS gallery page
http://www.rps.org/member/gallery/leigh-kemp/A-collection-of-my-work
as a starting point in helping me to choose which 10 (16) I should submit.
Here’s where I need your help. If you get the chance please try and visit the page, have a look at my works , choose your 10 favourites in order and another 6 “also-rans” and let me know what they are. It’s very difficult for me to choose. I really need your help on this.
Thanks in advance.
Best wishes
PS. there’s also a slideshow option on the page.
On Sherry’s good suggestion I did some screengrabs and numbered the works to make things easier:

Hi everyone,
I’ve been meaning to do this for some time so I thought I’d give it a try.
My profile page, now I’ve got to sort out some works for a gallery album.

Edit: I’ve uploaded some of my work to their site. Quite difficult to choose which ones but I’ve had a go.

Hi folks,
I’m all “internetted” out!, produced and published the book, the video of the book, tweeted, squaked, shouted out, posted, poked and prodded that’s it. I’m off to lie down in a very dark room for a while 🙂

Hi folks,
Painterly church interior Brussels.
A second painterly work of the very beautiful Eglise Sainte-Catherine in Brussels. Two nights are never enough time to explore a city like Brussels. I didn’t have a plan of action and a list of must-see locations to try and tick off. Instead what works best for me is to throw all of that away and just do what I enjoy doing the most and stroll around exploring and coming across some very unexpected finds such as this beautiful church interior. If I’d have had more time then I could have been a little less rushed but it’s a fun way of exploring when in a previously un-visited location.

Hi everyone,
I have a new book – http://www.blurb.co.uk/b/8173860-i-can-t-paint
The e-book version for Amazon Kindle Fire®, Android devices and PC computers (much cheaper but totally useless for fixing the wonky leg on your coffee table unless you use your phone or tablet for the job, but if you’ve got a £1000 i-Phone!! then the hardback’s probably a better option

Book description
I’ve always had a lot of admiration for both artists and photographers many of whom I count amongst my friends. I’ve been taking photographs for more than forty years but, over the years, I’ve gradually grow away from producing purely photographic works and adopted a more painterly style to my work. I’ve also been lucky to indulge my passion for travel so many of the works featured in the book are from my recent travels abroad as well as a selection of works from my travels closer to home in the UK. I hope that you find my work interesting and enjoyable.

Hi folks,
View of Brussels from the Atomium. Not the best location if one is suffering from one’s third bout of BPV (Benign Positional Vertigo) in as many years. The only good bit about this thing is “Benign”, I have my own term for it which is best not printed here.
My able assistant otherwise known as “my beloved”, “she who must be obeyed”, “‘er indoors” and other similar terms of endearment had to steady me to prevent me from falling over but I got the shots! 🙂
Best ,
