A bit of a quandary

Hi,

I’m pretty set on my works for the online gallery but in two minds about whether to leave my original selection of one of the works or change it.

Any thoughts on which you prefer?

When in Rome #27 “Piazza del Popolo”

Another painterly work of Rome’s amazing landmarks. I’d have like the cars moved but hey, you just have to work with what you’ve got πŸ™‚

New Work “Dazed”! :)

Hi folks,

Following my falls today when I accidentally shot my feet on the way down to the ground πŸ™‚ Β I bring you an exciting avant garde new work simply entitled “Dazed”. Always look on the bright side of life at least until tomorrow when my wounds start to hurt and ache more πŸ™‚

Licking my wounds

Licking my wounds…
Hi,
I thought I’d go out for a bit of a test shoot with my various prime lenses today on a lovely summer’s morning. Things were going well and I’d taken a load of test shots with five different lenses and I thought I’d just take a few more before returning home to have a look at the shots. I tripped with my camera in my hand and my camera bag on my shoulder and my only thought was to try and save my camera and lens πŸ™‚ . Net result was that I managed to save my gear or at least it looks that way but in doing so I fell very awkwardly and came down very heavily on my right knee and gashed it badly, as well as my right elbow and also twisted my left side somehow as I fell.
I was limping back to the town centre still pretty groggy when I tripped again, this time with the gear safely in my bag and this time managed to gash my left knee. I was feeling a bit light-headed before I set out but didn’t think too much of it, maybe I should have done so. It shook me up pretty badly and I ache and hurt all over but at least my gear is still in one piece πŸ™‚ .
Always look on the bright side of life πŸ™‚

Update – When going through the shots I noticed that I must have taken some shots as I fell, here’s one of my feet, Β please excuse the poor framing and I wouldn’t have used a 17mm lens but I didn’t have time to change it in mid air Β πŸ™‚

If you keep trying long enough

Hi folks,

A while back I started posting my work to the Olympus Gallery website. I don’t know if Olympus, as camera manufacturers, much favour my sort of work as it’s not straight out of camera stuff or for that matter straight at all πŸ™‚

But…. I just had a look and it seems quite popular amongst the viewers today and that’s quite nice to see.

Who knows , maybe Olympus themselves might take a bit of interest in my work as I almost exclusively use their gear. πŸ™‚ You have to enjoy these moments whenever they happen, it gives one a bit of a boost as I frequently wonder if my work is of interest to folks.

Best wishes
