“Belle Vista” panorama, Corfu

Hi everyone,

A panoramic view stitched using Microsoft I.C.E.

Best wishes,

Oh I love USB charging :)

Hi,

As per usual only two mains sockets in the room and located in the most crazy awkward of places but thanks to my trusty and much travelled Anker 5-port USB power hub no problem simultaneously charging multiple devices with 2 ports still free for another dual camera battery charger and a USB power bank should I have needed to connect them πŸ™‚ .Charging/powering up to five things at the same time from one mains socket is a real time saver and definitely the way to go when travelling as is not having to pack multiple dedicated proprietary wall chargers complete with plug adapters and only being able to plug in one or just maybe two at a time if one’s very lucky.

My travelling tech, mostly USB battery chargers, USB power hub and backup USB power chargers , in this case EU figure of eight mains cables (to fit the Anker USB hub) and USB charging cables now almost completely standardised on USB-C. I’ve had the hard black and orange plastic dustproof, waterproof, shockproof storage cases with foam inserts for ages and they do a good job of giving extra protection to, photography-wise, my most mission-critical Anker USB power hub and dual USB camera battery charger. The camera battery charger shown above is a single battery one that I carry in my camera bag when in transit as a backup with a USB power bank and cable and I’ll use on occasions where I only need to charge one camera battery or maybe my mobile phone. In fact the battery life of my new Duracell BLN-1 equivalent camera batteries was so good that I only needed to charge one battery during my week long stay. I took three batteries and could have charged them all at the same time should ever I have needed to using both of my USB camera battery chargers and my USB charging hub.

Just got back from Corfu

Hi everyone,

Just got back from a week long trip to Corfu. Here’s a couple of street shots that I took in Messonghi. In the end I took my Lumix 12-60mm as my main lens. My new camera bag, strap and camera batteries performed well.

More to follow, kind regards,

Phone video to panorama try out Bognor

Hi evberyone,

A quick try out taking and converting video from my phone to panoramas using Microsoft I.C.E . I’d use my camera for the real thing but this is only a quick test of the panorama stitching and it does a pretty good job.

Still crazy after all these years πŸ™‚

Kind regards

Photo walk on a sunny day.

Hi everyone,

Yes I said sunny!, haven’t seen much of it this year. Had a stroll around Bognor Regis with my 20mm Lumix f/1.7 lens this morning to see what I could find. Apart from taking photos and checking gear recently I’m trying to push my legs as far as I can prior to my next trip away. They ache like hell but hopefully it’s doing some good.

Kind regards
