The great escape.

Hi,

I enjoyed a lovely couple of hours earlier today wandering in the Spring sunshine along the canal footpath, occasionally stopping to chat with passers by and photographing whatever caught my eye. My work may not be particularly en vogue but it’s always been and will always continue to be, my escape, a way of switching off, if only for a short while, from all the violence, death and obscene greed that I witness every day in the news. My small way of pushing back against the corruption, cruelty and ugliness in the World that sometimes seems to engulf us. Watching the sun beams glittering on the water, the tree branches swaying very gently in the light breeze and savouring the calm that being close to nature brings. Not being able to get out as often as I’d like only serves to cherish these moment even more.

Kind regards,

Leigh
